Welcome to the Future!

Well, sorta. Welcome to the official page, courtesy of Master Splinter (TheTechnodrome Forums,) of TMNT Voice Comics. TMNT Voice Comics is a fan made voice over interpretation of the comic books we all love best, Eastman & Laird’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Essentially what this means is, we create a moving video using the original comic book pages/text bubbles and provide voice acting for each respective character. We all put our own spin on our respective character(s) and provide the comic a sense of “reality,” if I could be so bold as to say that.

TMNT Voice Comics is a very new idea, and we are currently in the baby stages of our first project: E&L’s TMNT Volume 1, issue 1. I have to give a major shout out to Jester, who is not only taking on the lead role of Leonardo but also editing the entire project, from putting the movie together to fitting our voices in sync with our characters. I also must mention Sliced, who cut apart the entire high quality scans of the comic including text bubbles for us. I’m voicing Donatello (DonnyTMNT on the Forums,) The Ninjinister is voicing Raphael, shuriken is Michelangelo, Raph has become our Master Splinter, and oldmanwinters is our arch-nemesis, The Shredder. Also on board is Bjarni, who is lending his talent as one of the Business Men. Some actors are taking more than one role, if we have a small part that needs filling. I promise we’ll have our real names up on the credits; those are just our usernames on TheTechnodrome Forums. :)

We undoubtedly owe this project idea to TheTechnodrome Forums for 1) getting us together (well, via the internet) and 2) providing such an excellent haven for Turtles fans. I’ll keep you posted on the latest…
